And for a wonder, there's almost no mention in the local (not exactly progressive) press about the Grand Obstructionist Party's shortsighted opposition.
After the roll call on both votes, someone needs to explain what the GOP hopes to achieve beyond a wrecked economy and a bitterly divided nation.
